Bangladesh squad for T20 world cup 2012

Bangladesh's cricket selectors  recalled all-rounder Farhad Reza for the WorldTwenty20, starting in Sri Lanka next month.

The 26-year-old, who played his last T20 international in November 2011 against Pakistan, replaced paceman Nazmul Hossain who was part of the T20 squad which toured Europe last month.

"We opted for Reza considering his all-round ability. He is the kind of player Twenty20 games need,"Bangladesh Cricket Board chief selector Akram Khan told AFP.

Reza has played eight T20 internationals since making his debut in 2006.

Bangladesh have been drawn with Pakistan and New Zealand in the preliminary group D, with the top two sides advancing to the Super Eights round.
